Potential Etsy Purchases

I absolutely love all of these prints found on Etsy.com. I'm wanting to do a grouping of prints above my sofa in the living room and these are all possibilities. I actually already purchased two of them :)

Exception.......

So when I began this blog a few weeks ago, my intentions were not to write about occurances in my day to day life. However, yesterday was such a good day that I am making an exception. When I awoke, I had a negative mindset. Why? There was no particular reason. I just felt off. But then that mindset vanished and replaced itself with a tranquil one. By the time church ended, my mood had slightly improved. After church I had brunch with two girls that I had just met literally 30 minutes beforehand. Typically, this might be an awkward situation for me as I'm often uncomfortable around new people, but it was quite the opposite. We had great conversation and within our one hour long brunch I could tell that I will probably remain friends with these two people. Not to mention the pseud0 French boy singing and strumming his guitar. After lunch we stopped by the book store where I bought three books. Two that I will undoubtedly read and one well that will probably just sit on the shelf. Once I parted ways with my new friends, I went to coffee with another friend. This ended and I headed home for a nap and for some quality time with my iPod and Iron & Wine. I assume that my nap restored my energy because I immediately woke up and went for a run. The physical activity must have spurred some hunger because following my run I got some sushi takeout. Now, these are all fairly normal acitivities in which I partake weekly, but the fact that they were done with new people coupled with the cramming of them into one Sunday afternoon provided for a sense of invigoration. In closing, I promise not to post mundane posts like this in the NEAR future. I can't gurantee that it will never happen again though :)

T vs. R

You know when you read a phrase or a sentence and you think that one word is another word? Well, this happened to me today when I read someone's facebook status. I really hate to include a blog about someone's facebook status, but my misinterpretation of this person's status struck me as quite humorous. So humorous that I just had to write about it. Anyway, this person's status read: ____ had to dig her car out of the snow with a dustpan. Well, I thought that it said: ____ had to dig her CAT out of the snow with a dustpan. For a split second I had a mental image of someone scooping out of the snow a terrified little kitty, but then I realized that it was not a cat that was dug out with a dustpan. Even if it was a cat, she could have at LEAST used a shovel of some sort. I'm glad for the cat's sake that it turned out to be a car (if this person even has a cat), but it sure would have made for a good story!
